British artist Vanessa Julian Ottie has created a wonderful series of butterfly fairies. Each quite distinctive with its own butterfly colors and rendered with a gentle air. They have a rather etheral quaility and placed against the scale of the human objects they create a very believeable world. Whether sitting under a leaf or asleep on a feather you accept their presence.
